Future out of conference football games

The 2007 season is upon us. Missouri highlights our out of conference schedule this year. The rest of our out of conference schedule is ho-hum to say the least. In 2008 we are scheduled to play Memphis and Wake Forest.

I would imagine that the 2008 out of conference slots will have to be filled very soon. I decided to see what other schools have openings for next season. I was surprised athow many have open slots.

Here are some teams with open slots in 2008:

  • Arizona
  • Boston College
  • Florida State
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • North Carolina
  • NC State
  • Oklahoma
  • Oklahoma State
  • Oregon State
  • Penn State
  • Purdue
  • Rutgers
  • TCU
  • Texas
  • Tulane
  • UNLV
  • UTEP
  • Wash St.
  • Wisconsin
I wouldn't mind playing any of these teams. The Big Ten teams, followed by the Pac 10 seem most appealing to me. In our history we have only played the Big Ten 3 times.

Let me know what you think. Which teams do you want to play?

Good Stuff,
I added you to the blog roll at www.leftoverhotdog.blogspot.com

You will have to give us the low down on the West this year. I am pretty sure everybody will be behind LSU.

Hey, man. Nice blog. I created a blog this summer for my vacation, but I'm going to keep it up each week during the season to post our experiences on the road. I haven't missed a game in three years, home or away...including Wyoming and Texas Tech. You can check out my blog at www.rebelfamilyroadtrip.blogspot.com.
